Drift
An ongoing visual research on perception, movement and abstraction. Through duration and motion, recognizable elements dissolve into lines, geometries and color fields, where the original subject becomes secondary or, at times, barely perceptible.
Drift is generated through controlled aerial movement and long-exposure capture, using a drone as a moving camera rather than as a recording device. The project does not seek predefined subjects. Different environments — natural or built — are translated into images shaped by time, movement and chance. Conceived as a long-term and open-ended body of work, Drift is intended to evolve over time and exist as a series of autonomous works, produced in limited editions.
